Chris started dancing just as he was about to turn 17 years old. He had taken a couple of dance classes in his last two years of high school and danced in a few musical theatre productions (The Music Man, Guys & Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof, and Hairspray). It wasn’t until he was 19 that he really discovered his love for dance. In the fall semester of 2011, he entered the University of Arizona as a psychology major, and he began taking non-major dance classes along with his core courses. Since then, he has been taking musical theatre, improvisation, jazz, and ballet classes and has worked his way up to the major-level modern classes all at the UA. Also in the fall of 2011, he joined a local dance crew known as Dia Clones and is still a current member of the team. In September of 2013, he joined another Tucson dance crew called The Drop Fam. With The Drop, he has competed in World of Dance: LA and at Hip Hop International in Vegas. He began teaching at BreakOut in August of 2014 and has been a proud member of the BreakOut family ever since.
